Garland Dragons are a welcome sight in the skies during the holiday season. Their slightly luminous scales shine softly at night or catch the day’s sunbeams as they turn loops and spirals in the sky. They will often drape themselves around tall pine trees or along rooflines, adding a festive note to the winter scenery. Occasionally they drop red mana berries from their garland-like mane, which offer a comforting warmth to those that find them.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Henequen grew up in a cave network farther north than the region of current residence, which receives about 0 snowfall per year. In early winter, when she's more active, she's easy to spot on trees, posts, and roofs, her white scales standing against the orange, brown, and gray architecture. Luckily, she's a very warm and helpful dragon with a lot of fun stories for the children, so she's in little danger. While the humans aren't that great at physical defense against large threats like some types of dragons, they're a pretty vengeful sort and will always try to "get back" at those who break rules or wrong their communities. Henequen never thought that a people's legal code could take up 6,480 pages (and counting), and one day, she'll catch up with reading the laws and feel as knowledgeable as everyone else.
