Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Not content just lying around most of the day, Pastorale began preparing simple dishes while lying around most of the day. All the ingredients are either easily found nearby or are brought to him. He's never made anything that's required heat or a container of water to cook. Lately he's become practiced at choosing the right items to go between the folded halves of an already baked tortilla. He happily shares whatever he makes (which is why other dragons don't mind bringing food to him in the first place), and the lucky eaters seem to enjoy dish with onions, salsa, and beans the most. Pastorale one gave a platter of the food to humans, and the humans loved it more than his peers. The tacos were the talk of the town for a while.
