Kovos Pygmies cast terror into the hearts of those unfortunate enough to encounter one. As solitary hunters, they avoid contact with most other dragons. Tendrils of nearly-condensed liquid mana swirl about them at all times, bringing a sense of dread—and slow corruption after prolonged contact. They will attack prey even when well-fed, sometimes solely for the entertainment of the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

c1gao is a mild dragon, often diving into the night ocean after squid and other unexpectedly small prey. He has taken to salt water and spends his days deep within the jumbled rocks of the shore. His body is stiff and thick for a lyndwyrm, which is especially obvious when the moons are full and he dances above open water with KZOVO, whose long, sinuous body weaves around him like one of his magical tendrils. After they have been out together, he seems to grow milder and more like what one would expect from a seawyrm, while she inherits more of the agression of a kovos. Both pygmies bring in more than they can eat, and c1gao makes sure to drag the excess out to where it is easy for a black marrow to get. So far, KZOVO hasn't had the courage to attack one of the massive, bony scavengers, but some suspect it is only a matter of time.
