It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amongst the mounds of a long-abandoned graveyard, this massive Purple male can be found lurking quietly.  The guardian of the remains of an ancient, forgotten and dead human village, Electric Cosmos accepts his duty with a hint of whimsy.  It seems he was a hatchling living in this hidden town before its ruin; he tells cryptic and confusing tales of his youth to historians who seek him out.

His deftness with magic is obvious, to those both with the gift itself, and those less powerful -- striding about, one careful step at a time, he allows his talents to create a flow of power around him, causing his whiskers to drift around him as if he were submerged in water.

Electric is devoted to his mate, Ogham, and often speaks on her behalf lest she break her vow of silence.  Their offspring can usually be found with either parent, running playfully throughout the ruins.
