Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zultanithio Mystal FirstRay (Clan Mystal) (after the gemstone: Zultanite) was welcomed into the clan cave as the nineteenth clan dragon. He brings with him the golden rays of dawns first light, and his scales sparkle brilliantly in their majestic beams. Zultanithio was the first eggling born to Opaliestrus and Almandintrion, and represents the joyous union of the two beloved elders. It is said that Zultanithios name drifted into existence on the wings of doves, and landed gently upon the tongues of babes. Zultanithio is a light and kind hearted soul who spends his morning hours basking in the warm embrace of the suns soft, morning glow. Having such devoted, loving parents has inspired him to enjoy the little things, and he worries not about the trifles that cause anguish and pain to others. Zultanithio fully accepts the inevitable cycle of life, and chooses to remain firmly planted in the here and now.
