Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Gentle" in Japanese. She is the first daughter hatched to Koutei and Kuma-Gera, and she is best Friends with Aiji. She is a very beautiful dragon, with a silvery-blue hide, and gorgeous feathered wings. She is very small for a Moonstone dragon (which vary greatly in size). Onwa is slightly smaller than the average female Striped dragon, and is more delicately framed than one. She is a great singer, and has a beautiful voice. She was highly sought after by many of the bachelors in the colony, but none of them caught her eye, that is until she met Daitenshi. It was at a gathering of striped dragons, some from her family, some from Norio and Eri's, and some from both. She saw Norio and Eri's son Daitenshi, and was infatuated. When he came over to introduce himself, she was thrilled. Soon they were courting, and not too long after that, they became mates on a beautiful winter day. They love each other so much, and they look forward to being together for all eternity.
