Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

LittleBitDark is an adorable and rare Black Dragon hatchling. She is very young and quite tiny. Either her Purple mother or her giant Black father can hold her in just one paw. She's not much larger than a pygmy dragon hatchling, only two or three times as big. LittleBitDark is so young she is still a little unsteady on her feet, and sometimes she falls down. Her owner thinks she is just adorable.
