Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mydako Cyr, 16th named of the clan. His egg simply appeared in the cave one day with no explanation. The Elders of the clan agreed that his appearance was another omen and hoped that he could help them understand their own unease. Mydako, however, had other plans. He is reserved and aloof, rarely deigning to speak with anyone. When he does speak, his words are cryptic and indecipherable. His intentions are unknown and though the Elders are not reassured, Lady Nerruse has taken him at his word that his presence is benevolent. What is known is that his magic is powerful; even Jormungand will not challenge him. He comes and goes and, for reasons only he knows, will occasionally present an egg to the clan to raise.
