Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys gathering pebbles and other small rocks and putting them in a pile.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pabbles is a Genius. With a capital G. He knows he is, even if the other dragons act like they don't believe him. But they too know he's a Genius, even if they won't admit it. He's sure of it.

Another word that begins with the letter G is God, and Pabbles sometimes wonders if he isn't a God, too. It is, after all, another word that starts with the letter G. And since he is a Genius, it makes sense that he is a God, too. Perhaps he is a Genius because he is a God.

Pabbles hasn't made his mind up yet on whether he is a God or not, but he is, at least, a Genius.
