Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Remodel's favorite hobby is decorating her house. Unfortunately, the "house" is mostly water, so there's not much to decorate that won't wash away or deteriorate after a short time. Yet, this is her home, and she can't really move onto land, so instead, she helps others jazz up their houses, like a wrapping-wing who is busy all year. She especially likes rolling herself around in a water-filled box on wheels to visit humans. Since her limbs aren't very useful for holding objects, Remodel casts a spell which forms hands with surrounding debris, with which she can hold things. Her spell used to create spidery tendrils, but those tended to frighten the humans, so she had to figure out how to make decent-looking hands. That's how determined Remodel is to lend a helping hand.
