As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.
Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.
User Description
Her name means "Forbidden Love" in Japanese. She is one of the many daughters of Kiyomi and Kentaro and was raised alongside her sister Hanabi. She also considers her best friend, Shin'ai, to be her sister as well. She is loved by all the inhabitants of the colony, even though she is much more reserved and quiet than her best friend. When she met Taiho, she thought that he was too immature to be in a serious relationship, but he proved her wrong. He began to court her, and before she knew it, he was asking her to be his mate. She said yes with love shining in her eyes, and she has never regretted her choice to stay beside him. They are still in love and together to this day, and they always will be. Like all the drakes, they live in Remy's cabin. They prefer to sleep by the window though, on an old chest, instead of on the bed like most of the other drakes. Every night they curl up together, for comfort and warmth, and love.
