Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aeivez is a very quiet female. Though she rarely speaks, she radiates a pristine gentleness. She was promised to Shinmoedake the moment she was born but she ran off with Absenth and produced three rather nasty hatchlings with him. After four years, he got bored of her and sent her sprawling back to her betrothed.

Her children all live with her and Shinmoedake. They enjoy tormenting their surrogate parent, though they are very protective of their mother and never disrespect or cross her.

Others assume they take after their dad. Despite her rebellion, Aeivez comes off sweet. This is not the case. Aeivez is cruel and horribly nasty.

Out of her offspring, her favorite is Sigero. She dotes on him and lets him get away with anything, framing young Krui. She dreams of one day slaughtering Krui, the worthless pile of junk he is. Her spite is, in truth, envy. Krui has the gorgeous lineage she wants for her own sons and she deeply hates him for it.
