Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Her name means "Little Dragon" in Japanese. She is the firstborn daughter of Aka-Tsukushi-Gamo and Ashinaga-Shigi. She's a very small dragon, not the smallest of the Striped dragons, but pretty close. She's beautiful, with sapphire and golden scales, making an interesting striped pattern. She is very dainty as well as being small. She is a lovely dragon, and is very loved by all those who know her. She often hangs out in Remy's garden, and helps by catching all the insects that come to eat the plants. She is mated to Karasu, whom she met at a Striped dragon gathering. Although he is not a Striped dragon, it has never mattered to Kaida. Once they started hanging out, they quickly became friends and were courting soon after. They are mates now, and love each other more than anything else, and they always will.
