Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Count Halo Fate is a rather regal and distant dragon. While he doesn't look down on the other dragons, he doesn't spend much time among them either. His time is spent mostly outdoors, parading about. The more easily awed creatures of the forest pause to stare, and that's how he gets his meals.<br/>From time to time he will spend an hour or two with the hatchlings and tell them of his past glories. But for the most part, he'll be found far away from Nadat's cave, remembering the days when he was young and princesses were oh so easy to find and kidnap.
