Diamondwing Dragons are named for the myriad tiny scales that grow on their wing membranes, lending them a faceted, lustrous appearance. These meticulous creatures will spend months ranging far and wide to collect the shiniest trinkets and gemstones to adorn their nests. Once his nest is complete, a male Diamondwing will perform an elaborate aerial dance hoping to impress potential mates with his beauty and prowess.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. This dragon is a Clam. She is the most shapely, sparkling clam in the region. Of course, clams can live near a volcano without water. She just happens to be the only one around here, and that is purely a coincidence. One can find more bivalves if they get off their bellies and look around a bit. Also, this clam happens to resemble a dragon in shape and behavior, but she is definitely a clam because she SAID SO and wishes the negative naysayers would just SHUT UP. She is seeking a handsome scallop to be her partner and hopes to spawn many children in the future.
