Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It hides in dark spaces and lunges at anything that gets too close. Small piles of bones are accumulating outside of its “lairs”...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Autn spends her time crouching under piles of leaves, watching as the world goes past. In spring and summer it is easy to see where she has made her little leafy cocoon, but in the autumn she often gets stepped on by passing dragons who mistook her little lookout for yet another leafy pile. While this is often disregarded as being simple laziness, Autn earnestly enjoys this practice and enjoys seeing how the dragons interact with each other when they believe nobody is watching. As a result of this Autn has become an expert on the gossip and secrets that sneak around the cave, although she is unwilling to disclose them, she wouldn't be allowed to continue her eavesdropping if she didn't respect their privacy. She will however, give advice to those who can swallow their pride enough to ask her, based off what she has learned. Her youth means that the advice is not always practical, and rarely takes the asker's feelings into account, but her simple ideas can give a different perspective.
