Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fyodera DreamSong is a Daydream dragon and like most of her kind, causes people near her to start daydreaming or fall asleep all together. She enjoys this ability, often sneaking up on groups of dragons and watching them fall asleep or introducing nightmares into the minds of other unfortunates. She doesn't use this ability on her family, instead preferring to use it on the numerous visitors to the family caves, especially when said visitors start getting annoying and demanding scales or dragon eggs and hatchlings. Fyodera then simply focuses on getting them to doze off and sleepwalk out of the cave. The pushier visitors also wind up with scary nightmares of giant eggs and terrifying hatchlings chasing them all night. Her abilities also come in useful to calm hatchlings, put them to sleep and soothe them with good dreams, which Fyodera is happy to do.
