When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rain Droplets on a Puddle was named that because it was raining when she was born. She was the tenth dragon to live in this cave. Since she is a Water Dragon, she has to live in water. She is playful and welcoming to all, but she is very lonesome. She misses her family dearly. When it storms, and the waters in her lake become rougher, she gets excited, knowing that some of her adopted kin will visit her. Comforting Lightning is her good friend, since he visits. Eternal-Flame fell in love with her and spends 99 percent of his time there. They have a son who is named Shining Goldfish, that keeps her company. Her lake is near the cave she grew up in, and she can sometimes be seen or heard from the cave.
