Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It was born with a full set of wings.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little baby dragon seems to have a hard time believing that it can fly. While flight actually could not be acquired in its original state, a traveling Magi Dragon cast a spell on it to be able to fly with just a thought.

While the baby does float in the air every once in awhile, it always seems very surprised, shouting to anybody in range that "I can fly!". Once it gets its legs back onto the ground, the baby just forgets the incident. While this may be funny the first few times, many dragons have now gotten incredibly tired of the same sentence over and over.

But trying to be mean to the baby has no effect, since it just seems to accept everything as a compliment, so many just say "Yes, yes you can."
