Arcana Dragons are a rarely-encountered breed of dragon known for both their magical abilities, and their quirky, hardworking nature. These dragons have specialized organs for storing mana, and can produce varying effects from these reserves simply through instinct. However, they are also very intelligent dragons, and when raised around mages, or others of their own kind, almost invariably become obsessed with the study of magic. Arcanae are diligent in their efforts to discover as many uses for magic as possible, and while they will openly treat others to the fruits of their labor—especially others who share their interests—they will also use their knowledge and abilities to trick any creature that thinks it can take advantage of them.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Zehquig is a breeder of an eccentric array of plants. She buys and sells all sorts, from man-eating bulbs and imaginary peaches to shoe trees and sock shrubs. Her special favourite are dogwoods; she is well-known for show-quality border colliewoods. Of course, she loves all types of dogwoods, even the muttwoods and the undomesticated timberwolves. A significant portion of the business that goes through her plant nursery is from the locals asking her to capture and remove dangerous plants from their properties. One would think that she should end up with more assassin vines, firemelons, pea-shooters, and leech sprouts than anyone could figure out what to do with, but individuals trying to protect their secret lairs seem very keen on acquiring volatile flora.

The only problem anyone has with Zehquig is that she desperately wants dragon-grass in her botanical collection. This seriously offends the dark green dragons whom she frequently tries to transplant.
