Their lusciously soft feathers and paper-thin golden spires are by no means the armor of a warrior, but an Erador Lindwyrm is a force to be reckoned with. The fragrant, berry-scented oils that coat their skin have a powerful soothing effect, which, in tandem with their magic, have the curious effect of fostering feelings of closeness in those around them. Eradors are gleefully aware of this effect, and seem to make a point of cultivating and mending as many relationships as they can, be them romantic or otherwise. As such, dragons seeking to preserve their fearsome reputations are careful to give Eradors a wide berth, as it is well known that anyone who picks a fight with an Erador is sure to win...a new friend.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Friend Me believes that nearly any problem can be solved with warm water. When he was small, he lived in a frozen desert, where no erador should be raised. Those were terribly cold years, and Mother wasn't very nice and would threaten him with more ice if he complained too often. Only once he grew a little older and developed his magic did she start to see the error of her ways and provide better guidance. The first time he drank from a hot spring, the revelation that warm water solves everything came to him. During the day, Friend Me travels around the territory with a rectangular vat of water, warming up cups of it and giving them to every friend he encounters. Everybody he encounters is his friend, knowingly or not, so he gives away a lot of water.
