Pillow Dragons are covered in enormous amounts of fur affectionately referred to as fluff. Despite their deceivingly large size, they can still fly even with such tiny wings because their bodies are remarkably light. Pillow Dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. Once a pillow dragon becomes an adult, its fur grows very slowly. Pillow dragon fur is used to make very expensive and valuable cloth known as “dragon cashmere.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

For a draconic ball of fluff, Appah has a terrible temper. Please, for heaven's sake, never use his name and "cute" in the same sentence. He doesn't take kindly to that. You'd be surprised at what this downy dragon can do when he's angry.

With his angry temperament, you would expect him to be mated to a hellfire or the like. He has no patience and doesn't enjoy dragons that waste his time.

There is one exception: His mate, Yip.

A fellow, far less serious pillow dragon, his relationship with her is one of the oddest to ever have been spawned in the clan. It began with her insistent need to pester those who clearly dislike her. Unsurprisingly, Appah was on that list.

He snapped one day and just about killed her. After, the guilt he felt significantly warmed his heart to the fluffy clown.

She can do anything to him and he will just take it, nonchalant. She even dyed his fur pink and braided it once and still he did nothing. In fact, something rare happened that day. He laughed.
