White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shadow Blast blasts shadows for fun. It's a hot day, everyone is bored and casting long shadows, and BOOM! A spurt of colorful but harmless magic stuff pelts the ground where one of the royal crimsons is lazing about. BOOM! Another little beam splatters on the back of a blue-banded and quickly disintegrates. Soon, everybody has learned how to cast the spell Shadow Blast used, and there are little jets going every-which-way. Some killjoys say Shadow Blast is wasting mana by starting fights like this, but a bit of fun once in a while should be all right, the white would explain.
