Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Never happier than when he is stretched out against the setting sun, Pandimus is truly a creature of the skies. He is strong-willed and active, and spends a great deal of time flying as high as he can possibly go without running out of air.

He announces the setting of the sun every night with a great earth-shaking roar (otherwise, he is utterly silent), and can often be seen high on the mountain's craggy side, watching intently as the orb he adores sinks below the horizon. The ending of each day is also the beginning of another one, and his daily tribute to the sun reminds his scrollmates that every death is, in its own way, a new beginning.
