Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hale may be a sunset dragon, but her mother Adventi shared with her a love of the morning's first soft celestial rays. She spends almost as much time basking in the early dawn coolness as she does soaking in the last heat of the evening.

Thus she is a well-balanced individual, able to seek out pleasure in almost any situation. Even rainy days (often brought about by yet another tussle between Cleod and Stormroot) don't faze her much, because they often bring the potential for rainbows, which send her into frenzies of delight.

She has tried to join Pandimus in "roaring down the sun", but her voice lacks the strength and depth of the older male's and she often feels rather foolish for even making the attempt. Pandimus can shake boulders loose with his thunderous bellows, but poor Hale simply lacks the volume to do much more than frighten the hatchlings.

There are those who think she may benefit from a few visits with Lochum to learn how to sing.
