The Sakuhana Wyverns are known for their alluring beauty and the sweet, pleasant aroma that follows them everywhere. Though they may be courted by numerous potential mates, a Sakuhana typically will only choose one and remain with them for the rest of their lives. They are very playful dragons that are always active and rarely sit still for long. Because of this, they are typically only seen during Spring, settle down for just long enough to find their mate. The presence of a Sakuhana always brings an influx of warmth and new growth; the dragons make use of their innate magic to help bring about an early Spring.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

In early spring, Hannahmoon's cherry orchard is a sight to behold. Many visitors come simply to enjoy the pink blossoms and rich fragrances as an excuse to get out after the long, dark Nworset winter. Hannahmoon makes an event out of the bloom, offering tastings of her rich, cherry cordial, cherry jam, and pies from canned filling she made in the previous season. Stocks are generally limited, and the few brief weeks of the bloom clean out her pie filling supplies every year. In front of her tasting room is a particularly large cherry tree with time and life crystals imbedded in the trunk so that it experiences an eternal spring. The rest of the trees grow normally, and when the harvest season comes Hannahmoon uses the breadth of her skills to harvest, appearing both at the local farmer's market and all over her property, picking, canning, fermenting, and sorting cherries for her various products.
