When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Gliding On Silky Water is a handsome young water dragon whose mother and father kicked him out of their living quarters when he was only a tiny gendered hatchling. Ever since, the male has been on his own, eating his share of meals and leaving the rest for other water dragons, battling other males for territory rights, etcetera. Most water dragons respect him, and most of the adults think his daughter, who lives in the same underwater cave as him, is adorable. However, most adults only act like they respect him and only say that his daughter is cute to earn what humans call "brownie points"; so he will respect them and be kind to them, and so he will not let his daughter try to gnaw their tail fins off.
