Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys swimming in a nearby pond.

And look! Its fins and tail have gotten bigger, and you’ve moved it to a larger body of water to swim in. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

She has practiced diving with her father for many, many months and she is one of the greatest divers in her clan! Many hatchlings—and even sometimes adults—look up to her for diving and even swimming advice, like how to do flips before hitting the water, or how to keep your eyes open underwater without blinking once! She is what the other water adults call the little watery demon, because when the adults are not looking, she swims up behind them and tries to gnaw their tail fins off! She laughs, but they growl and threaten, except when her father is watching.
