Perhaps among the most venerated of dragon breeds is the Zyumorph, a breed whose selfless heroism and strong moral compass are nearly unparalleled by other dragons. Zyumorphs have an innate urge to fend off wrongdoing, and as such, are often sought after in times of peril. Although they are independently quite capable fighters, it is said that their true might is not unlocked until all six Zyumorphs are brought together in times of great duress.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Garland God is pale and serpentine, is significantly smaller than his five brethren, and has yellow-gray scutes from chin to tail-tip. When he was first discovered, people looked upon his etiolated figure and worried. The Reincarnation of the Esteemed Zyumorph of the Leaves was unexpectedly feeble-looking. The magic users among them sensed a predilection for fire, an element of Destruction, which made everyone worry more. Perhaps this is an omen, they said to each other. It's been 43 years and counting, and the first people to see Garland God and make contact were apparently—and happily—mistaken. His color is now described as a luminous softness instead of unhealthy pallor, and the fire affinity is used for warmth and comfort, not for razing. He enjoys hanging on anything that can accommodate him to watch over the land. No one could ask for more of him.
