Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Demarik is best known for his autobiographical account of his journeys through the lands of Pakao; a moderately-sized yet isolated and treacherous land located past the Kipuci Casa(Boiling Glass) desert. So named, he explains, for the bedazzling center; three miles of sands so hot that they crystallized into glass.

His journey began when, foolishly, he went flying in hurricane winds. He was thrown significantly off track and his wings were damaged in the storm. He awoke in the desert and, having poor navigation skills at the time, he went the complete opposite direction of home.

Through resilience and determination he survived it all. His journey was fraught with danger and discoveries. Pakao revealed itself to be a lethally beautiful place. Rather than returning home when he recovered, he continued to explore Pakao.

Upon his eventual return, he diligently worked for years to compile his experiences, leading to about a dozen books that have become popular within the entire region.
