Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prishon Oasis is the son of Uzarah Malflame and Emphemeral Oasis. Rejected by his mother as a hatchling, he was raised by his older sister Letta. When he was a half grown hatchling he was befriended by Lolth Eventide, who became his best friend and eventually his mate. Everything was going fine until they had their first egg and Prishon left to go hunting. When he returned Lolth had lost their egg, and had tracked it down to the vampires nest. It was too late and the egg was already turned.

Although they had three more eggs over time, Prishon was devastated that each time Lolth would give them away to another clan. Eventually he grew tired of the emotional stress and left her.

Prishon went on to become a mentor to hatchlings without parents in the clan, and has been the surrogate father to many hatchlings.
