Yellow Lightning Pies is not a reference to any foodstuff; rather, the eponymous dragon hails from an Iberian settlement, where "pies" actually translates to "feet". Of course, he cannot explain to anyone, for all he speaks are the Iberian languages, and all he cares about is his lifelong passion: running around at lightning fast speeds with yellow feet.
