Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Pi Seferizt is widely regarded as one of the most intelligent dragons of his clan. He uses his perpetual flying abilities to soar among the clouds for days at a time, diving into thunderstorms in order to learn more about this natural phenomenon. While he does report his data to clan leaders and he always agrees to undertake any other particular storm-related research they have in mind, generally his work is viewed as esoteric and not very useful. However, it does have a practical purpose, one that most dragons are unaware of: for Pi Seferizt's ultimate dream is to discover a way to allow other kinds of dragons to be immune to lightning in the same way that he is, so that they, too, may experience the thrill of soaring through thunderstorms and torrential rain. Why anyone would actually want to do that, nobody knows, but the clan leaders agree it could have practical purposes like reducing delay from messenger dragons being grounded by storms, and thus continue to endorse his research.
