Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A Banded has happily resided with a small clan of geodes since she was a child and has never seen another vampire since. They don't know what she is and don't understand why she prefers the grossest, wettest bits of the animals they bring home. She was found wandering the savanna, hungrily nibbling everything in sight. The middle son who picked her up assumed she was some kind of pale lizard and was surprised she could talk. The family eventually decided the lizard was the same species as them, although they did not know what breed—definitely not a geode (although she had the correct number of legs). When asked why a thing like her was skittering around their territory, she yapped, "I'm a banded, I'm a banded". Seacliff, the leader, picked up the hatchling, looked her all over, and determined she had no bands. Not knowing what else to call her, they named her A Banded. Even during adulthood, A Banded is reluctant to dwell on anything that occurred in her life before she was adopted.
