Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When End was first adopted by the human denizens of Lime, they intended to raise him to be a pet. Once they realized that this critter wasn't some odd shadow snake, they instead raised him to be a productive member of society. He's learned a lot of things, some of which have gone against his instincts and his parents' teachings, so day-to-day life can be challenging. Very important is that he should verbalize complaints and arguments rather than roar or shriek. Someone from the city hall also reminded him once that it's a good idea to discuss problems in a polite manor, though he hasn't yet found out which building in Lime is the aforementioned manor. Luckily for End, there are a lot of things he's excused from, such as how to bend one's knees when bowing or how hard to squeeze in a handshake, because he has neither knees nor hands. He recalls his name given by his mother, but it's several words long and somewhat confusing (linguistically), so he goes by "End".
