Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. This Soulpeace is always trying to get other dragons to remember their dreams of when they were hatchlings. She hates seeing creatures who've given up their own wonderful ideas to 'live' their lives. Every hatchling that she's ever met gets stuck in a long conversation based on what they want to do when they grow up. Most of them enjoy such small talk, since they finally get an adult that will listen to every little tiny detail of their dreams. The one's who've already been 'brainwashed', according to her, always find her tiresome and too hysterical.

The Soulpeace has been a good help to a few select dragons, however. The one's who find themselves stuck in a loop of everyday life and despair for the new day get to have her utmost attention, as well as her special magic. Most of the results are positive and the friends and family of the dragon she helps are always grateful for her service.
