Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to enjoy sunbathing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Stoomy Brown is clearly not brown, but in her head, most named colors don't sound right and should be attributed to another color. "Hazel" should be gray, "red" should be teal, and so on. "Brown", of course, sounds to her like it should be green. When Stoomy Brown has decided she's right, she will keep doing things her way, to the confusion of others, until people finally agree she's right or the grownups become irate and make her stop. She is disappointed that the latter usually occurs.
