Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has brightly colored fins on its back.

And look! It has grown larger fins! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Flight Children is an eccentric little hatchling. From birth, she's been hopping around, speaking to anyone that would listen to her about almost anything. The forest, water, red dragons, wings, zombies; nothing escaped her notice and curiosity. When the fins on her back turned out to be functional as wings, she was in the air as often as possible, flying with the birds that had no problem with her company. She loves to show off to them, flaring the fin that trailed down her back and letting the sun scatter the purple color everywhere.

Her excitable state of mind sometimes gives the older dragons headaches and they usually stay as far away from her as possible. Her young life always is radiating from her and always will, since she was frozen by a traveling Magi Dragon specialized in eternal youth.
