Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Elusive by nature and a lover of puzzles, Mi'Stletoe is only found when she wants to be found. As one of the guardians of the November Needleleaf, she devises riddles or places hints near her and her allies' abodes when she foresees any visitors. Very clever travelers who make quick work of any puzzle will still get hopelessly lost and feel themselves aging quickly if they enter with ill intentions. Although it's said that everyone who comes to November Needleleaf needs to flex their minds a little, Mi'Stletoe does have a couple of good friends who can't solve a two-piece jigsaw puzzle, so they are the only individuals who can freely enter and exit without having to figure anything out.
