Found along the coast and in nests high above the ground, Mistra Dragons are respected for their gentle nature. They are known to adopt any abandoned eggs or hatchlings that they find and raise them as their own, singing softly to lull their young into a deep sleep. As a result of their close relationships with their families, Mistra Dragons tend to live in large, close groups. They use their large numbers to their advantage for many things, including putting on shows (of sorts) and frightening predators away from their nests.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cablegram is a talent scout of sorts, officially working in Relic Pub, a forest that's noted for its lack of volcanoes, among other characteristics. Officially, she meets dragons and sometimes points them to the Elf Dear Theater. During downtime, she goes on with her life with her predictable routines. She's wary and distrustful of dragons outside her family. When she has to work with others, sometimes far away from home, she primarily looks out for herself, always eyeing an escape route and windows to cut and run should she find it necessary. Though self-serving and pragmatic, Cablegram does have her scruples. Given the choice between helping somebody she deems a good person and enriching herself with no one else the wiser, she'll always pick the former. As talent scout, she meets many talents, many of whom she keeps as contacts or individuals to keep an eye on even long after their stint at Elf Dear is completed.
