Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Zabaj is another of Sardonyxiar and Obseddiun's adopted children. Like Voydd's, her egg was found abandoned. In her case the egg was discovered by Lurhstaap in front of a cave—clearly captive-bred, but abandoned in the vain hope that it would survive in the wild. Taking pity on the abandoned egg, Lurhstaap brought it back to the breedery, where it became the special charge of the two adult blacks, who nurtured the egg while it incubated and taught the hatchling that emerged everything they knew. Zabaj, unlike her fellow adoptee Voydd, absorbed every bit of the two warriors' battle-lore and has become a canny fighter in her own right. At first, she scorned Voydd for his 'eggheadedness', but now that he has grown into a handsome young male in his own right, Zabaj has become set on the idea of claiming him for her mate. Too intimidated by the powerful young female to spurn her outright, the more timid male uses a placate or avoid strategy with her. They have offspring now, naturally.
