Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
It is said that Scooped was found as a lost hatchling and was scooped—literally—by the giant hand of a passing tree-dwelling spirit and deposited in the confines of a motley pack of kindhearted dragons. They were holding a meeting at the time and didn't appreciate the interruption, but they accepted the child anyway. Scooped's memory is hazy, but he figures it's a neat story, so he believes it and retells it. Now he's a lookout for his pack, but he is always accompanied by other dragons. Despite his great eyesight, swiftness, and eagerness to please, Scooped isn't very good at his job because he feels it's rude to point out passersby and nice-looking folk.
