Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Burrowed into a deep patch of dark, fertile earth, the female Vine sleeps. Her flowers are spread wide to catch the sunlight, large of shape and exotic of colors, sometimes even seeping strange, smelly liquids.
She rarely awakes and even then never interacts much besides the routine breedings that her master asks of her and small talk between dragons who keep a wide amount of space between them. Like many of the other high ranked dragons, Willow knows the future plans and possible time shenanigans that occur in her clan. Unlike them, she takes no part of the goals and spends her time sleeping.
Her stout mate, a Copper answering to the name Monster, sometimes visits her during the times she's dreaming. Getting too close has caused a few incidents, but he has some form of affection for the Vine nonetheless, unlike many of the paired dragons that are required to produce eggs for their master.
Whether Willow appreciates any of his acts of affection is up for debate.
