Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Confiner always knows the humidity of a location and likes to share her knowledge, and because she wants to be understood when she informs others, she will gladly explain what humidity is and the different ways it's measured if asked. Her favorite method of imparting knowledge to people is by walking up to them, jumping and landing on the ground beside them, and announcing with a jingle. This usually scares the beGoN out of them, and due to their fright, they may not have processed what she said, so she says it again. Sometimes, she gets hurt doing this, but it's worth seeing the reactions on their faces. Confiner doesn't hunt using this method because she sees no point in teaching others and then killing them immediately after. She's a solitary dragon and regarded as an embarrassment by members of the Sole Eater Serrati Clique, whom she avoids.
