Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

When asked how paper dragons came to be, Jiraiya loves to make up stories rich in detail. Unfortunately, they're low in accuracy and have a tendency to dwell a little too much in sappy romantic details. He knows to behave himself when telling the hatchlings bedtime stories, but when his audience is a bit older he adjusts his stories to be more fitting. Jiraiya is a great liar, a great flirt, and also great company.
