Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With scales the color of sky blue, a mane of soft purple, and a majestically long tail, Prince Fantasia is a royal dragon indeed. Many crave his lofty daydreams, whom he bestows on only those he favors. The sight of him flying nonchalantly through the clouds is said to bring good luck and much fortune to those who see him. Prince Fantasia lives on a floating cloud island somewhere in the eternally clear and sparkling waters of a shallow sea. It is said that his island home is a paradise of mist, clouds, and more dreams than imaginable. Prince Fantasia only picks the prettiest and most attractive females to be his mates, and he showers each and every one of them with songs, gifts, and his beautiful daydreams. He may even carry them away to his paradise, where they can live happily for an eternity. Like his father, he's quite shy, and usually isn't seen, but when he does choose to make an appearance, he is sure to turn heads and make the females' hearts flutter indeed.
