Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rad is a great hunter. He is also one of the biggest supporters of the Moonsilver Artists' Association and regularly leaves his surplus prey with the MAA's members so they can concentrate on their art. While he is not creative enough to join, without him the clan would still know far less beauty than it does right now. In times of food shortage he has been known to deny himself food before letting the MAA know that something was amiss. His friends need to remind him regularly that he is a valued member of the clan too and needs to think of himself once in a while.
