Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Feet to the Fire is a member of the Novel Magical Activittee, the body in the Seven Sufficient Districts that reviews and obtains resources for proposed mana-based experiments, devices, and other activities. Despite what his name suggests, Feet to the Fire is not aggressive or pushy, which is why certain citizens really like when he reviews their proposals. He's chipper, garrulous, and easy to convince with flimsy reasons, even if an idea might be very stupid or dangerous. Though he is responsible for providing funds to projects, sometimes, people will provide funds to him personally to get their proposals passed. What a great way to add to his hoard! There are lines he won't cross, of course, such as his instant reject stamp on a proposal involving water mana fusions and dismemberment. He rarely gets angry, but when someone crosses a line, he becomes quiet, and his tone becomes low and dark. Whenever he shows that side of him, the person talking to him always immediately obeys him.
