Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ominous Floret is a guide in the documents repository at Lumio Polytechnic. She's great at explaining broad concepts to patrons when talking about materials, though she holds off getting into details because that's for the patron to find out. Several of her colleagues are skilled and smart but... lacking in some ways. One of them, whom she has to supervise now, is Reengage, who is very curious and bright but physically weak, so he uses a lot of magic. He accidentally killed someone with an unfinished spell once. (The victim was revived, fortunately). Instead of punishing Reengage or just telling him to stop doing dangerous things, the director had three employees including Ominous Floret supervise him whenever he works on a new spell. She finds it unfair anyone has to stand around while potentially deadly experimentation is occurring, and she's pretty sure she was chosen by the director because of her life element affinity, even though her knowledge doesn't concern magical injuries.
