White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Maji Merlin was abandoned as an egg but was found by a young wizard who raised him. The wizard raised him, not as a pet but as an apprentice. At a young age the wizard taught him about the world of magic, and as he grew, how to use his own innate magical abilities. As Maji Merlin grew stronger his wizard made him promise never to harm others. He made this promise, even though it was little trouble, because like most white dragons Maji Merlin flourished in healing magic. These two bonded over the decades, but eventually Maji Merlin discovered how short human lives were. He watched as his wizard grew old and eventually passed away, despite all of Maji Merlin's magic. Now, Maji Merlin travels the world, using his healing magic to help those in need. But, as he travels there is one thing he is truly searching for: something that will make his magic strong enough to conquer death. He wants nothing more than to bring his master back, and will do anything, even if it means breaking his oath.
